geez louise! why are people so randomly mean to complete strangers?

Wow. I am constantly amazed at the rude in the world. You'd think by now I wouldn't be, but I am.

She deserves a kick.

mr wind-up bird

You should just have pointed at her and shouted "velcro... KILL!"

right, b/c if you see someone get potentially hurt, you're first response should definitely be an illogical scolding. Not "you ok?" No, let's be mean.

Let's put tacks in her tires.

Once, I was babysitting and I brought the kids (Liam and Anna) to Riverdale Farm and onto the TTC. Anna, who was 2 at the time, wouldn't sit down on her bum in the seat (who can blame her, she was 2 and had never been on the bus before), alas it was trying on my patience, and I started to use my "firm" voice. There was an older woman on the bus who decided to turn to the person beside her and said (referring to me) "She should have thought to use a condom" to which I promptly replied "thanks for your advice, I do, I'm the babysitter" ... then she got off the bus.

I love when people feel like they ought to give their two cents.
