So there's a post I haven't written yet called The All New Chronicles of Sarnia. It's about the time I spent in small-town nowhere Canada in November. That'd be Sarnia in case you're wondering. And I spent 10 days there in hospital.
Only I haven't had the energy to write about it.
Of course, it turns out that there was a really good reason why I've been so tired. And why my neck has been in so much pain since the beginning of November.... Oh, right, and why I was in hospital in the first place...
That reason would be the great big abscess on my spine. The one the doctors in Canada missed...
I had emergency surgery last week to remove it. And now I'm stuck in hospital hooked up to IV antibiotics. Hopefully I'll be here just a few more days. But I'll need to continue the IV antibiotics for another five weeks. Ya, five weeks.
I am so incredibly bored. Of course, the reason I'm so bored is because I've finally got some energy back. Ugh. So bored.
Anyways... The point is if you're a doctor or a nurse and your patient complains about a sore neck, don't just push more morphine, run some frakking tests!
I'm glad to hear the abscess has been treated. I'm sorry to hear about the need for surgery, but I hope you have a swift recovery.

Oh my gosh! I hope you heal fast and don't die of boredom in the process.
